We are Mike & Cara Tyler, global workers serving with AGWM in Europe. Since 2009 our family has been partnering with European believers and fellow global workers to establish new churches which reach their communities with the gospel.
Will you partner with us to help plant new churches in Europe?

eastern germany | 2009-2012
The eastern parts of Germany have some of the highest rates of atheism in the world. When you're there, you can sense the spiritual void. Yet where there is a need, there is also an opportunity! God blessed our time there as we got started in Germany, working with two separate teams to help start two new churches in the city of Dresden!
SOUTHEAST GERMANY | 2013 - 2015
In an area with a different background and similar spiritual need, we again teamed up with German believers to help start new two ministries. We saw many people come to faith, and even step out into ministry, as we helped establish a discipleship training program, and a multi-campus church in this rural area.
SOUTHWEST GERMANY | 2016 - 2023
We felt called to start a church in a small city on the border of Germany, France, and Switzerland. In an area where most people only know traditional-liturgical forms of church, our team worked to plant a church that would be relevant to the lives of youth and young families, and true to the gospel. From day one, the church has been a great success (despite the pandemic) and has had the joy of reaching many youth and young families, seeing them come to faith in Christ! In just a few years, a strong church has been established!
Coming soon:
In the fall of 2024 we will be moving to a new location: Leipzig, Germany! The details are forthcoming, but the main point remains: kingdom impact! Our two pronged effort to expand God's kingdom through church planting and member care will remain our focus so we can multiply our efforts and see Europeans' lives changed through the message of the gospel.
Often as we travel to churches in the USA we hear the statement, “Global workers are heroes.” It is a humbling and flattering statement. And while it’s an honor to hear it, we have to be careful not carry that thought too far. Global workers are heroes of the faith, but they aren’t super heroes. They aren’t invincible. Just like all ministers, global workers are normal people. They face the same challenges that everyone else does, and often they face those challenges in a context where they are under-resourced, overwhelmed by the size of the task, lacking partners, and missing the network they used to have.In 2019 Cara sat in a gathering of over 500 missional “heroes” from across Europe. As she was praying, she sensed God calling her to support her colleagues, nudging her with the thought that it takes healthy ministers to lead healthy churches. Beginning that day, Cara refocused her efforts to establish teams and programs that would assist global workers in Europe in their pursuit of staying spiritually, emotionally, physically and relationally healthy for the sake of the ministry. Her efforts have been received with thanks and cheers from across the continent.Below are her 3 main focus groups:
Third Culture kids
Helping Missionary Kids connect with God and each other and to equip them for life in Europe and beyond.
Health & Wellness
Equipping missionaries to thrive in the areas of spiritual, mental, emotional and physical health.
Safety & Security
Supporting individuals and families in the area of safety and security by assessing, warning, informing and training for fruitful ministry.
Cara's teams are now working to empower global workers with new skills for the task and new partners for the journey. As the ministry continues to grow she needs partners to help her along the way. Below are two ways you can help.
